Summer is wedding season, which means plenty of you - maybe even some of you without a ring on your finger (yet!) - are looking for the ideal gown to wear as you walk down the aisle. Surely you've got a vague idea shrouded in the color white, but do you want strapless? Mermaid hem? Long sleeves?
Of course, plenty of this season's wedding gowns will be inspired by Kate Middleton's gorgeous Alexander McQueen dress. The long-sleeved number was a perfect marriage of tradition and modernity (a bit like Will and Kate themselves, don't you think?). Expect plenty of designs featuring vintage details, lace and more modest silhouettes this summer - perfect if you're looking for a design that'll stand the test of time.
Another popular trend this year? Textured fabrics. Princess Kate may have contributed to this one, but more likely it's just an overall preference toward gowns that have a little more visual intrigue than the typical silk or taffeta fashions. Little details, like flowers and lace overlays, are all the rage, so look for a dress that's not just a treat to look at, but also a treat to touch. (Of course, paws off for everyone but you and your husband!)
